Hope Atlanta and Action Ministries joined forces in 2021 to build a comprehensive hunger and homelessness relief program. Collective Learning Academy students began working with Action Ministries at the beginning of the pandemic, driving weekly to its Atlanta volunteer center and packing Superpaks (supplemental shelf-stable food) for school-aged children. Our full-day students as well as afternoon CBI and summer camp CBI students continue to serve weekly at the center and we have established an on-site toiletries and household goods donation and pack site for them within our home at Second Ponce.
